Mr. Yassen holds a BA in Accounting from An-Najah National University (1994) and an MBA from the same university (2001). He brings over 28 years of distinguished experience in the banking sector across the Palestinian market and the UAE (16 years in Palestine and 12 years in the UAE), having held key roles at several banks in Palestine, including Arab Bank and Cairo Amman Bank, as well as Arab Bank in the UAE. Over the past 17 years, his professional focus has been firmly centered on business development and credit management, during which he has contributed as a member of credit and financing committees, as well as asset and liability management committees (ALCO).
He served as First Vice President and Head of the Corporate and Financial Institutions Banking Division in Palestine (2017–2022) at Arab Bank, Palestine, and as Senior Manager of the Corporate and Financial Institutions Banking Division at Arab Bank in Abu Dhabi from 2005 to 2017. He has completed extensive training programs, participated in numerous conferences, and undertaken specialized academic coursework in banking and economics across Palestine, as well as in several Arab and European countries. He currently serves as a BOD Member of the Palestinian Islamic Bank.
